Wellington Street Syndicate

Duke House is a Grade II listed mid terrace office building on the north side of Wellington Street, in the heart of the Leeds professional district and a short walk from the railway station and City Square. It was built in the 1860s, of traditional brick with ornate stone dressings, and was extended at the rear in 1995. The accommodation runs over six floors including a lower ground floor and a converted attic, reached by the original staircase with a modern lift alongside, and each floor has its own metering, WCs and kitchen. The net internal area is approximately 11,243 sq ft, and the 1995 extension provides three undercroft car parking spaces reached from Back York Place.

The whole building is let to ISON Harrison Limited, a regional firm of solicitors which has occupied it since 1995 and runs it as its head office. Duke House provides the main reception, lift and access for the firm, which also occupies parts of the adjoining buildings.
