Helmsley Group has been buying, developing and managing commercial property in York for forty years. The short film below was flown over the city centre and the Ouse.

We are a small firm, and our presence in the city is larger than that suggests. The buildings in the film run from single retail units to a riverside masterplan, and they were acquired across four decades rather than in any one cycle. Some are held today. Others were developed, let and sold.

Each was funded the same way, through syndicates of investors who have shared our vision for these properties.
