Managing Director

Richard is Managing Director and joint majority shareholder in Helmsley Group, having been with the business since 1998. As well as having an overview of the business as a whole, he is the Director with day-to-day responsibility for Helmsley Group’s syndicated lending activities. He is involved with all aspects of the loan process from the initial assessment, coordination of due diligence with our advisors, ongoing monitoring of the loans and ensuring eventual repayment of the loans. Richard is also the main point of contact for client investors involved with our lending activities.

Director, Developments

Max is joint majority shareholder of Helmsley Group. His role as Development Director requires sourcing, appraising and managing build projects from initial planning through to practical completion on behalf of development ventures. Max has successfully overseen a varied range of projects, from sensitively converting scheduled ancient monuments to creating large-scale new build developments.

Director, Investments

Edward joined Helmsley Group in 2015 having previously worked for 10 years in the Yorkshire investment and agency markets. Responsible for the syndicated investment department, his role includes liaising with clients, sourcing investment opportunities for the Group

Director, Head of Finance

Tom Boyle is Head of Finance at Helmsley Group. He joined Helmsley’s finance team in 2014 and now sits on the board of directors. He is responsible for overseeing Helmsley’s financial performance across all areas of the business, as well as helping to drive forward the Group’s regeneration and investment strategy across Yorkshire and beyond.

Non-Executive Director

Ged has over 30 years’ experience in corporate finance and property lending and is presently Non-Executive Chairman of a number of businesses. Within Helmsley Group, as Non-Executive Director, his role encompasses group finance and strategy, with specific responsibility for assisting Richard Peak on the sourcing, assessment and monitoring of the syndicated residential development loans undertaken through Helmsley Acceptances Ltd.

Director, Head of Asset Management

Alexia is Helmsley Group’s Head of Asset Management. She brings 16 years of experience to the role, having previously worked in commercial property in the capital. Alexia’s role includes managing the performance of Helmsley’s syndicated investment portfolio and ensuring that its properties continue to deliver strong returns for its network of client investors.
