The Yorkshire Business of the Year awards celebrate the very best business successes from across the region, spanning a range of categories from Start Ups and Community Impact to Sustainability and International Trade.
Led by TheBusinessDesk.com, the awards encompass a rigorous judging process that sees all of the hopeful companies visited by the judging panel, ahead of a shortlisting round and pitch presentation, before the winners are revealed at a high-profile awards evening.
In the Property category we faced fierce competition, shortlisted alongside coworking space Cubo, architects and planners The Harris Partnership and fellow property investment company North Property Group.
Our substantial business growth, innovative plans for Coney Street Riverside and the successful launch of our specialist holiday lettings business, Yorcation proved to the judges we had the credentials to take the title and we were delighted to be crowned Yorkshire Property Business of the Year.
During what has been a challenging year for businesses the world over, these awards demonstrated a real sense of optimism and pride in the achievements of every business shortlisted.
Following a milestone year which saw us invest £17m in properties on behalf of our client investors and record a year-on-year increase in profits of around 20% across the Helmsley Group of Companies, this win has buoyed us with further ambition to continue growing our network of over 800 client investors and making positive progress on landmark schemes throughout North Yorkshire.
